The GeoVigyan National Inter-School Olympiad (NISO) is a scientifically constructed diagnostic test with the goal of promoting school students' interest in Earth and its environment as well as public awareness. It is a skill-based competitive exam that assesses students' understanding of Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, and Geography across all disciplines.
GeoVigyan's goal in hosting this olympiad is to raise awareness about the Earth, its ecosystem, and the ever-changing climate.
GeoVigyan now hosts National Inter-School Olympiads in Earth Science, Environmental Science, and Geography. GeoVigyan will host events in the future in a variety of areas, including Disaster Management, Science, Mathematics, and others.
GeoVigyan engages in a variety of educational and awareness-building activities to raise Earth's geology, geography, climate, and environmental awareness, as well as to promote sustainability-related choices among the youth. This Olympiad will help students understand their abilities, competitive skills, positive and negative strengths, and where they are good or need to update.
