GeoVigyan hosts two-day international e-Workshops in which our experts teach the theory as well as the practical aspects of the chosen topics. GeoVigyan has hosted three e-workshop sessions so far, with attendees from more than 15 countries.

About the Instructor:
M.Tech (Remote Sensing & GIS) from the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) Dehradun.
She has experience in various image processing techniques, satellite imagery, and experienced in handling Hyperspectral, Microwave SAR images, and Multispectral data for mapping and monitoring Earth surfaces.
Her current interest includes Mineral exploration using Hyperspectral Remote Sensing, Synthetic Aperture Radar for Disaster Monitoring, Python, R, Water Resources, GIS applications, Google Earth Engine.

Instructor: Mr. Abiola Sylvester Akinnubi (Research Scholar, University of Arkansas, Little Rock, USA)
About the Instructor:
Masters in Exploration Geophysics from the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
Mr. Abiola has worked as a Data Engineer, a Geophysicist & a Software Engineer in the following industries Energy, Insurance, FinTech, Tech Consulting, Technology Teaching.
Mr. Abiola is currently researching and working on misinformation online through social behavioural studies by applying Machine Learning and Graphs Theory amongst other advanced computational principles and will spend some years doing so. His focus is on applying Software Engineering and Machine Learning principles in problem-solving.
